Measuring Tips

Don’t allow a large gap between the grapes and the stage because it won’t take good measurements
Avoid broad daylight
If it’s important to measure outdoors, you must avoid direct daylight by turning your back to the sun before taking the measurement

How to use PAL-HIKARi 2

Method 1

Place the stage on the table and bring the grapes contact with the sensor stage
Press the “Start” button to instantly read the grape Brix levels

Method 2

If the grapes are on the vine, bring the sensor stage into direct contact with the surface of the grapes
Press the “Start” button to instantly read Brix value

Remark : If measuring outdoors, always use a cover cloth in conjunction with the fruit measurement
